Makers of auto products advertise undercoating, and many other protective services: maintenance systems to protect car bodies. Most work-for a time.
Think of it: the human body is a hard working vehicle that goes through a tougher routine than most cars and trucks. It just dawned on me: it is politically correct to say that the human vehicle is intelligently adaptable but, as soon as we mention it is intelligently designed, intolerant demons begin to growl. Well, as a radio host, I am allowed some press freedom; so I will exercise such: the human vehicle is excellently and intelligently designed.
Over the years, our misuse of the environment has affirmed that every action (known and unknown) has an equal and opposite reaction. We release toxins indiscriminately in the atmosphere, in the ground, into our water systems, and sooner than later our immune systems begin to lose their effectiveness.
It should come as no surprise that all types of cancers are invading our bodies. What is more surprising, is that new types are becoming resistant to medical treatment. That leaves us with the most sensible option: improve our immune systems to such an extent that we function in an offensive mode, instead of a defensive mode.
How do we do that?
Fitness-minded people go to gyms daily. They put strict exercise programmes in place. Within months we see visible signs of improvements. We can do the same to our immune systems. We can begin by creating an oxygen-rich environment, combined with a certain amount of daily exercise. After all in China, people use the lunch hour to do 15 minutes of callisthenics. In every park you see groups doing their exercise routines daily. They also watch what they eat. A daily dose of fresh leafy vegetables plus any fruit rich in Lycopene is the genesis of immune system rebuilding, and the corrective foods are not expensive either. What I will do is to make up a list of things a person should have at all times in his/her food closet and within 30 days you will thank me for it.
1. Ginger, celery, onions and garlic: try to fix at least one home meal that has in at least two of those.
2. Tomatoes and pineapples: slice and stew tomatoes at least once per day. Tomatoes contain Lycopene, one of the best anti-oxidants: one of cancer's biggest enemies. Fresh pineapples also contain Lycopene.
3. There is a Chinese proverb which goes like this: "It is better to be without food for three days than to spend a day without green tea."
For the past 10 years, the National Cancer Institute has been publishing results of studies done (on green tea) in China and Japan. According to their published findings, drinking green tea reduces the risk of oesophageal cancer by approximately sixty percent. Recent epidemiological studies conclude that green tea contains a cancer inhibitor. In Switzerland and many other European countries, literature in health stores report that green teas release oxygen, and cancers cannot live in an oxygen-enriched environment.
Most importantly, do not hold grudges or pent-up negative emotions: those create stress. It is now confirmed that many serious ailments are stress-related. So, smile a lot, walk, swim, or do a 15-minute regular exercise-not necessarily strenuous-cut out junk food, follow the simple advice above and trust me, you will be on the way towards a healthier and wealthier life.
